What is S.T.E.A.M?

In today's day and age the importance of STEAM based learning is very significant.  Careers in these fields are more and more prevalent.   For this reason, schools across the country are moving towards a more STEAM based curriculum.

STEAM based activities are fun, hands on and engaging, which makes the children's learning experience all the more enjoyable.

At The Lilypad we promote STEAM through many of our theme based rooms!  Throughout the day, the children will have the opportunity to explore our wonderful learning spaces such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Dramatic Play, Math, Gross Motor and the library.  These rooms allow us to provide a larger variety of learning materials and activities so the children can really dig deeper into their learning!
